Beyond cleaning

Using baking soda for your overall health, since it is a natural product baking soda can be used to aid you in your physical health as well as keeping your environment clean - wherever you live and work!

1. Drinking baking soda to aid in digestion and and with heart burn neutralizing acid.

Recipe : 1/2 tsp of baking soda

1/2 glass or 4 oz of water

Caution: Salty, so drink it all in a few gulps

Daily use is suggested especially if you eat late at night, eat greasy foods and drink heavily.

2. Brushing teeth - aids in whitening and a healthy mouth.

Wet your soft tooth brush, dip it into dry baking soda covering the toothbrush and brush. It takes a couple of weeks to see any huge difference, but you should see some difference within the first two weeks of doing this if done every day twice a day.

3. Exfoliant - facial and whole body cleansing.

This helps with keeping down heavy oil buildup!

Make a paste: if you have a electronic facial scrubber use with the paste.

Recipe: enough 3 parts baking soda plus enough water to make the paste, should look like frosting.

Rub on face or body in a circular motion, let it dry for 15 minutes then wash off with warm water. Moisturize!

4. Relaxing bath salts.

Add one (1) to two (2) cups of baking soda to the running water, get in and relax.

5. Shampoo enhancer for fuller more manageable hair.

Recipe: add 1 tsp of baking soda to the shampoo to wash hair every week.

6. Deodorant, keeping the BO at bay.

Sprinkle baking soda on a powder puff or in your hand and pat in your armpit or over your body to keep dry and odor free. You can do this if you are looking for natural solutions to your hygiene regiment or in a pinch if you are out of your favorite deodorant.

Be careful when using anything on your skin especially if you are using something on or in your body for your healthy. The best thing to do is look for baking soda without aluminum, just a little more expensive than regular but still inexpensive.
